2020-21 Meals

Breakfast and lunch is available to all North Hills School District students when students are in school and through curbside pick up on days when there is virtual instruction. All meals are free for all students through the 2020-21 school year.

Curbside Pick Up Meals

Daily Meals

Daily curbside pick up meals are grab-and-go style and include lunch and breakfast for the next morning. Breakfast will include a cold item, fruit and milk, and the lunch menu will change daily as posted below.

Meals must be preordered weekly for the days you wish to pick up a meal that week. Weekly orders must be submitted by Sunday at midnight. Please complete one form per child. Meals are available to any child age 18 or younger.

Meals can be picked up from any of our four elementary schools and NHHS between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  The High School will offer extended hours on virtual days and will remain open from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. . Please note: Should the menu list a different option for middle and high school, that option can ONLY be picked up from the high school.

Weekly Meal Bundles

Five-day weekly meal bundles are available to students enrolled in the Online Academy at North Hills and for those who have chosen to remain fully virtual five days a week and include five lunch entrees, five breakfast entrees and fruit, vegetables, juice and milk for the week.

The meal bundle can be picked up curbside from the high school only from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday each week. (Subject to change based on the school schedule.)

Bundles must be pre-ordered by the Sunday before at midnight via the form linked below.

Like all meals, the 5-day meal bundle is also free for students age 18 and under for the rest of the 2020-21 school year.

In School Meals

Lunch for in-person students will also be grab-and-go style and will be pre-ordered each morning as instructed by teachers. Please DO NOT use the curbside order form for in-person meals.

Students will have three options: a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, protein power pack or daily hot option as posted below.

One cold option will be available for students for breakfast in all school cafeterias each morning.

In school meals are also free. Students may also pack their lunch.

In-School Meal Prices

All meals (curbside and in-person) will be free for the entire 2020-21 school year.

Adult breakfast and lunch meals can be purchased à la carte.

COVID-19 relief packages recently passed by the United States Congress contain numerous benefits for families financially impacted by the pandemic. Some of these benefits are available to students who are eligible for free or reduced-priced school meals.

If you believe your school-aged child(ren) may qualify for free or reduced-price meals this school year and have not yet submitted the application for free or reduced-price meals to the school, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible if you have not already been notified that your student is eligible.

To apply online, please follow the instructions on our website or you may download an application and scan, mail or fax as well:

The application then will be used to determine which benefits your child(ren) and/or household may be eligible to receive. Please be aware that applying for free or reduced-price meals will not impact meals that your child(ren) currently receives through the school.
