Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration

Welcome to the North Hills School District!

Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2021-22 school year. Please review the information below carefully. Enrollment is open to students who turn five (5) years of age prior to August 1, 2021 and reside in Ross Township or the Borough of West View.

Families are encouraged to register their incoming kindergarten student as soon as possible. Children who are not registered by June 1 may be assigned to a district school building outside of their attendance area per school board policy No. 202.

To begin the enrollment process as detailed below, students must be five (5) years old before August 1.

Step 1: Register Online

  1. Visit the PowerSchool enrollment portal and create an account or sign in if you have previously used the enrollment portal. Please note: An enrollment portal account is different than a NHSD PowerSchool parent portal account.
  2. Complete and submit the new student registration form in the portal.

Step 2: Schedule an Appointment

Once online registration is complete, call your student's school directly to schedule an appointment to complete your student’s registration.
