Report a Late Bus
North Hills families are reminded that if a bus is late or has not arrived within an acceptable time frame for the morning pickup to call the North Hills School District’s transportation provider ABC Transit at 412-821-4000. This contact number puts our parents in direct contact with ABC Transit dispatchers who can radio a driver to inquire as to their whereabouts. A parent may then decide whether to wait for the bus or drive their student to school. Please do not call your student’s school building or main office as a first option. Contacting a school building first will not yield an immediate or faster response.
Lost Items on a School Vehicle
To report items on a school bus, call ABC Transit at 412-821-4000 between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Postcards indicating student bus stops with pick up and drop off times are mailed two weeks prior to the firt day of school. Students should arrive at their stops 10 minutes before their designated pick up time.
