Kindergarten in the North Hills School District is a full day program. Students attend one of four district elementary schools.
The kindergarten registration process begins online. Students must be five years old prior to August 1 to enter kindergarten that school year.

All incoming kindergartners take a BRIGANCE readiness assessment. The assessment looks at each child’s physical, language, cognitive and social-emotional development as well as self-help skills and determines the child’s school readiness. Results will be shared with the child’s parents before the start of the school year.
