Elementary students in the North Hills School District may be eligible for reading and math reinforcement supported by district or Title I funding. Title I funds are utilized at Highcliff and West View elementary schools based on the number of students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. In addition, NHSD contacts with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit to provide reading and math support services for eligbile Holy Cross Academy students who reside the district.

• $502,381 funds a portion of salaries/benefits for Title I reading specialists at designated Title I Schools as well as assistance to homeless students.
• $13,485 provides AIU services to participating non-public schools.
