On June 22, 2022, North Hills School District held a town hall on the school district’s mascot, the Indian.
The purpose of the town hall was to allow the school board time to listen to input from community members and alumni.
Any NHSD resident, taxpayer, employee or alumni could sign up to address board members in person on June 22 or submit a comment via an online form. The online form was open from May 16 through July 1, 2022.
At the town hall, a court reporter was in attendance and the official transcript can be viewed in its entirety at the link below.

The school board is currently in the process of reviewing both the transcript and the survey responses and comments.
