Work on the new front addition at West View Elementary School continues with progress each and every week.
The new addition, located along Chalfonte Avenue, will include the school’s new main entrance as well as an open stairwell that will connect all three floors.
Large glass windows have been installed along the front of the addition, where the main office and principals’ offices will be located. The rooms have been framed so you can see the new layout and get a sense of the space.
On the top floor, several classrooms and the new library have also been framed. The library will be located directly in front of you as you come up the staircase. A hallway to the left will take you to several new classrooms.
The new addition is expected to be completed in January 2024.
