Hanna Mincemoyer named Assistant Principal of North Hills High School

PITTSBURGH (May 30, 2019) -- Hanna Mincemoyer has been named Assistant Principal of the North Hills High School effective for the 2019-20 school year.

Ms. Mincemoyer joins the North Hills School District from Sewickly Academy where she taught honors algebra and geometry and served as House Cavalier Dean. Prior to, she taught mathematics in the Seneca Valley School District.

“I am extremely excited to continue my career at a district that values collaboration, community and school culture as much as I do,” she said. “North Hills works to ensure that every student is healthy, safe, engaged, supported and challenged, and I am inspired by their emphasis on the education of the whole child.”

“Hanna will be an asset to our administrative team,” said North Hills Superintendent Dr. Patrick Mannarino. “Her ability to work with data and analytics will undoubtedly help us uncover proven ways to improve academic performance and increase student achievement.”

Ms. Mincemoyer grew up in a small farm town near State College, Pennsylvania.

She attended the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State for her undergraduate studies and completed her Master’s degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Administrative and Policy Studies.

She has her K-12 Principal Certification and is a Google Certified Educator Level 1.

In high school, Mincemoyer played soccer and stayed involved in the sport as an assistant girls’ soccer coach at Sewickley Academy.

Ms. Mincemoyer loves to travel and has been to two soccer World Cups in South Africa and Brazil!

Currently, she resides in Wexford with her cat Charlie.
