Student Handbooks

Posted below are the student handbooks for North Hills elementary schools, middle school and high school as well as absent and tardy guidelines for all grade levels. Printed copies are available by request at each of the schools.

Absence/Tardy Guidelines
A principal or teacher may, upon receipt of satisfactory evidence of mental, physical, or other urgent reasons, excuse a student for non--attendance during a temporary period of time.

Students who arrive to school ill and are, therefore, sent home within the hour of arrival will be considered as having attended the morning session. The student will be marked absent for the afternoon session.

Accurate records must be kept for all students who are tardy. This information must be recorded on the data system.

The following guidelines are to be used in deciding whether a student is considered tardy or absent.
