Every three years, Pennsylvania school districts are required to submit a Future Ready Comprehensive Plan to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The plan includes district goals and action items, with sections for new teacher induction, professional development and gifted education.
NHSD’s plan was due in the fall of 2020 but the deadline was extended one year due to COVID-19. The plan is now due on Nov. 30, 2021.
The plan will be up for approval by the NHSD Board of Education on Oct. 28, 2021.
The plan must be available for public review for one month prior to the school board vote. Links to each section of the plan can be found here. The approved plan will be effective July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025.
