Every three years, Pennsylvania school districts are required to submit a Future Ready Comprehensive Plan to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The plan outlines goals and action items to be completed by the district over the next three years. For plans submitted in 2024, districts must also include new teacher induction and professional development plans as well as assurances that prove curriculum and assessments are aligned with academic standards and gifted and student services offered by the district meet state and federal standards.
The district’s plan for 2024-2027 was presented to the NHSD Board of Education on April 4, 2024. It will be discussed during the meeting on May 2, 2024 before being on the agenda for board approval on May 16, 2024.
