Before-school care offered daily at all four of our elementary schools. Students may attend as frequently or as little as desired. No advance registration is required. The program does not operate if the school or district has a delay.

Program Hours

• Highcliff and West View: 6:45 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. (Buildings open to students at 8:10 a.m.)
• McIntyre and Ross: 7:15 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. (Buildings open to students at 8:55 a.m.)

Cost

• $3.50/day, can be deducted from student's cafeteria account

Each school has a designated area for morning care, and students are supervised by district personnel. Students can choose to study or read quietly, participate in games and other activities or view educational programs.

In conjunction with the Morning Care program, breakfast is served from 7:50 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. at Highcliff and West View and from 8 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. at McIntyre and Ross. The cost is $1.50.

Free Before-School Program

McIntrye and Ross elementary schools operate a free, before-school program from 8:40 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. daily. No registration is required. The program does not operate if the school or district has a delay.

After-school care is available to all North Hills elementary students in their respective schools until 6 p.m. on school days. The program is operated by the North Boroughs YMCA.
