Back to School

The first day of school for the 2025-26 school year for students in grades 1-12 is Wednesday, August 20. Kindergarten students will have orientation on Wednesday, August 20 or Thursday, August 21 before their first full day of school on Friday, August 23 as detailed below. A.W. Beattie's first day is also Wednesday, Aug. 20.

Student teacher assignments, class schedules, locker and bus information will be available in PowerSchool in early August after all back-to-school forms are completed.

Orientation begins with a presentation in the auditorium before students can walk their schedule, find their classrooms and open their locker. Students and their parents/guardians should attend. If you cannot attend at your designated time, you may attend the other session. If you cannot attend on August 4, you may attend the 7th and 8th Grade New Student Orientation as detailed below.

Middle School Open House
Wednesday, September 3
6-8 p.m.
For parents/guardians only. Parents will walk their child's schedule and meet with teachers to learn about the curriculum and course expectations. Parents should review their child's schedule on PowerSchool prior to arriving and remember to bring a copy with them.

High School

Grade 9 & New Student Orientation

9 a.m. & 5 p.m.
Monday, August 11
1 p.m.
For incoming ninth grade students and those who are new to the district and their families. There will be a presentation in the auditorium and then the building will be open for self-guided tours.
