Students are selected for membership based on their academic
success in French courses and across the curriculum, their community
service, and their commitment to making cultural connections. Students who
maintain their membership throughout their senior year will wear honor cords at
graduation.
Throughout this year, students have participated in the AFS
International Dinner, attended a Holocaust film and discussion sponsored by
Teen Screen of Film Pittsburgh, "Brundibar Revisited and raised funds for
the Cali Orphanage in Haiti as a service project by selling bracelets saying "Hope
for Haiti."
