PITTSBURGH -- North Hills High School's band program has been recognized by the National Band Association as the Blue Ribbon Award Winner for the Eastern Division.
The National Band Association is dedicated to the attainment of a high level of excellence for bands and band music. The NBA Programs of Excellence Blue Ribbon Award is not a competition, but rather a standards-based evaluation of program achievement.
The award is only given when a school program meets the objective standards of a Program of Excellence.
This year, North Hills was one of only three schools recognized by the National Band Association from the entire country. Congratulations!
