PITTSBURGH -- The North Hills School District was notified by the Allegheny County Health Department this afternoon, Monday, Sept. 14, that a North Hills High School student has tested positive for COVID-19.
The student has been attending school virtually, as all district students currently are, and is not involved in any district athletics or activities.
Because NHSD is operating fully virtual and the student is not a member of any district sports team or taking part in any district extracurricular activity, no further action by the district is necessary.
All contract tracing will be handled by the Allegheny County Health Department.
Anyone who experiences any of the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 is urged to contact their primary care physician immediately.
