Anthony Burns

PITTSBURGH -- North Hills Middle School sixth grade STEAM teacher Anthony Burns is in the running to be named the NHL, NHLPA and EVERFI's Most Valuable Teacher!

Mr. Burns is one of just 20 finalists across North America selected for his dedication to bringing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts to life for his students.

North Hills students, staff, family and community members are encouraged to support Mr. Burns by voting for him once a day every day in January. Vote online here.

Should he be named January’s Most Valuable Teacher he would move on to the finals for a chance to win a technology grant, prizes and more!

Mr. Burns was previously named the Pittsurgh Penguins’ Teacher of the Month last October.

Congratulations!
