PITTSBURGH -- NHSD has three new district COVID-19 cases to report:
- A North Hills High School student who was last in school on Nov. 13.
- A North Hills Middle School student who was last in school on Nov. 13.
- A McIntyre Elementary School teacher who was last in school on Nov. 13.
All three received their positive test result today, Friday, Nov. 20. Both students remain asymptomatic and were only tested this week after a family member tested positive.
The Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) has reviewed the details of each case and determined further action by the district is not necessary at this time.
As a reminder, students attend school remotely Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 24 before the Thanksgiving holiday.
There is no school Wednesday, Nov. 25 through Monday, Nov. 30 and all district buildings will be closed through Monday, Nov. 30.
Virtual instruction resumes Tuesday, Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 4. Please remember to submit the virtual attendance form daily.
