PITTSBURGH -- The North Hills School District is accepting nominations for its 2020 Sports Hall of Fame. Nominations must be received no later than Wednesday, April 1.
Created in 1995, this year marks 25 years since NHSD began its Sports Hall of Fame.
The Sports Hall of Fame honors individuals who have distinguished themselves in athletics during and/or beyond their years at North Hills High School or the former West View High School.
Current inductees have brought pride and recognition to the district’s athletic programs and to the community as former players, coaches, administrators and supporters.
Inductees will be announced in June and recognized during the Annual Sports Hall of Fame dinner in the fall. They also will be introduced at a Friday night football game at Martorelli Stadium. Former inductees are encouraged to attend.
