Middle school providing graphing calculators for Algebra I students in 2019-20
Graphing calculatorPITTSBURGH -- All middle school students in Algebra I for the 2019-20 school year have been given a Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus graphing calculator. Families do not need to purchase a graphing calculator. The calculator will belong to your child, and he/she should plan to use it as they continue their education in the North Hills School District.

All other students enrolled middle school math are not required to have a graphing calculator. These students only need a standard scientific calculator. Scientific calculators, such as the Texas Instruments TI-30Xa, are sold at major retailers for approximately $10. These calculators will not be provided by the district, and families should purchase one.
