PITTSBURGH -- New students entering North Hills Middle School or North Hills High School this school year are invited to take a self-guided socially-distanced tour at their new school on Friday, August 7 or Monday, August 10.
All students must sign up for a time slot and only the student and one parent/guardian will be permitted to enter. No siblings. Masks will be required for everyone at all times. Please do not arrive more than five minutes prior to your scheduled time slot.
When following the appropriate sign up link below, please mark the “quantity” for the registration as 1. Each student must be signed up separately.
Middle School
North Hills MIddle School is providing 20 minute time slots with staggered entry into the building. Incoming sixth- and seventh-graders and new eighth-graders to the district are invited.
We ask that you wait at the entry of the building at a safe social distance from others. A member of the middle school will welcome each student and family member into the building and provide information regarding your tour. Class schedules and team information will not be available at this time. You are encouraged to bring a smartphone or device with a QR code reader to assist with the tour. (The camera on many smartphones also acts as a QR code reader.)

High School
All students new to the high school, including upcoming Grade 9 students, are welcome to tour the high school building on Friday, August 7 or Monday, August 10. Students, accompanied by one parent or guardian, can walk their schedule and prepare for the first day of school. High school student schedules will be available in PowerSchool on August 7 and August 10. Students must be able to access their schedules on a device as printed schedules will not be provided.
Every 30 minute time slot will be limited to 20 students and students must be out of the school by the end of their 30 minutes.
