PITTSBURGH -- North Hills Middle School’s Eighth Grade Academic Awards Assembly will be moving online this year. Traditionally, our middle school gathers with staff and family members on the last day of school in order to honor those students who excelled academically throughout the school year. There are usually musical performances as well as a speech given by an eighth grader who is chosen to be that year’s class speaker.
While it's unfortunate that this event cannot occur in person this year, our teachers are committed to making it happen virtually! On May 28 at 11 a.m. we will be going live on the district’s YouTube channel to bring you our awards assembly.
This celebration will still contain musical selections, the presentation of awards by staff, wishes from our district’s administration, and a special visit down memory lane.
