North Hills High School sophomore and captain of the school’s JV hockey team Will Jackson received some help with his homecoming proposal from a famous face.
Pittsburgh Penguins' captain Sidney Crosby was delivering tickets to season ticket holders on Sept. 19 and paid the Jackson family a visit at their home in West View.
While there, Will asked Crosby if he’d pose with him holding a sign that read, “2 captains with 1 question: Will you go to HOCO will Will?”
"[It was] creative," Crosby told reporters at the house. "I like it. Hopefully, he gets the answer he's looking for."
Spoiler: He did.
After school on Monday, Will took the sign to ask his hopeful date and she, of course, said, “yes!”
The North Hills homecoming dance is Saturday, Oct. 1. Complete details and ticket info can be found here.
