Posted Wednesday, September 28, 2022

Join us for a day of Halloween fun at the 4th Annual Jake Wudarczyk North Hills Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 29 on the hilltop campus shared by the North Hills High School and North Hills Middle School.

The event, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature trick-or-treating at trunks decorated by various student, school and community groups, games, a pumpkin carving contest, raffles, food and more. Be sure to wear your costumes!

There is no cost to attend but donations will be collected for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in memory of former North Hills student Jake Wudarczyk. Jake was a junior at North Hills when he passed away in December 2016 following a 20-month battle with brain cancer. He was 16 years old.

If your group or community organization would like to participate by decorating a trunk, please sign up at this link. Tables are available if your group does not have a car trunk to decorate.

Raffle items and donations for the concession stand will also be collected. Please use this link to donate a concession stand item and this link to donate a basket for the raffle. Concession stand items should be dropped off at the high school by 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28. All baskets are due by Wednesday, Oct. 26.
