Representatives from seven local universities were on hand at North Hills High School on Oct. 24 for the school's 2nd annual Instant Decision Day.
Nearly 80 high school seniors signed up to meet with admission officials from the schools of their choosing in hopes of being offered admission on the spot.
Representatives Carlow University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, LaRoche University, PennWest (Cal U, Edinboro and Clarion campuses), Point Park University, Robert Morris University and Slippery Rock University also offered academic program and scholarship information.
Together, the universities made 139 admission offers!
Thank you to everyone who attended and congratulations to the students who were offered “instant” admission!
North Hills’ first-ever Instant Decision Day was held last November. Forty-four admission offers were handed out from IUP, PennWest and Slippery Rock, the three schools in attendance.
As part of Instant Decision Day, all admission fees are waived. Students are not obligated to accept any offer they might receive.
