For the second semester of the 2023-24 school year, NHSD will be rolling out School Dismissal Manager at North Hills High School and North Hills Middle School.
Already used in our elementary schools, School Dismissal Manager (SDM) allows parents to make changes to a student’s attendance status through a web browser or iOS or Android app, making it no longer necessary to call or send a note or email to the school. The school is alerted automatically.
When the second semester begins on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, all high school and middle school student absences, late arrivals, early dismissals and dismissal changes should be reported through SDM. Additional details will be shared over the next few months.
SDM has been well-received by elementary families and NHSD is excited to expand this tool and its convenience districtwide!
