Four public budget meetings will be held this spring prior to the approval of the school district budget for the 2023-24 school year, which is slated to be voted on by the school board on June 1.
The meetings will be held in the Ross Elementary School auditorium from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. as follows:
- March 22, 2023
- April 5, 2023
- April 19, 2023
- May 2, 2023
Public budget meetings are organized by the district's director of finance Jerry Muth to explain the budgeting process. These meetings allow those in attendance to gain detailed insight and ask questions for a deeper understanding of the budgeting process.
These are not school board meetings and board members who may be in attendance are there as observers and not part of their active role as board members.
