North Hills High School hosting a 'Night Around the World' Dec. 11

The North Hills High School Diversity Club and AFS Club are hosting a “Night Around the World” on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

High school classrooms will be transformed into different countries so students can be immersed into different cultures and enjoy fun, new experiences.

There will be live performances by North Hills vocalists and musicians, the YanLai Chinese dance group, the Tamburitzans and Timbeleza, a Brazilian drum and dance group.

There will also be food for sale, gift vendors for holiday shopping, a basket raffle, and kids crafts, games and activities.

There is no cost to attend but donations are encouraged to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. You can also donate online.

If you plan to attend, please sign up to give us an idea of how many people to expect. You can still attend on Dec. 11 without signing up.
