13 North Hills students place in top 5 at regional FBLA competition

PITTSBURGH -- Thirteen North Hills High School students took home top honors at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) annual regional competition.

Eight students who placed in the top 3 (marked with an asterisk below) will compete at the Virtual State Leadership Conference this April.

  • Kennedy Skrtich, 2nd place, Accounting 1*
  • Matthew Kulka, 2nd Place, Accounting 2*
  • Gabbie Merriman, 2nd Place, Introduction to Event Planning*
  • Angelina Adamski, 3rd Place, Accounting 2*
  • Emma Brown, 3rd Place, Introduction to Event Planning*
  • Tyler Muller, 3rd Place, Introduction to Business*
  • Jacob Rebel, 4th place, Accounting 1
  • Ryan Filipcic, 4th place, Business Communications
  • Gia Dugan, 5th place, Accounting 1
  • Emily Peck, 5th Place, Introduction to Business
  • Katie Miller, 5th Place, Introduction to Business Communication

While not eligible to compete, those who received fourth and fifth place honors can participate in Virtual State Leadership Conference workshops and activities.
