PITTSBURGH -- A staff member at North Hills High School has tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member works the evening shift at the high school and has very minimal daily contact with students, teachers and other daytime staff members.

This staff member has not been at the school since last Wednesday, Oct. 14 and was not in contact with those in attendance or those who participated in last Wednesday’s high school bands outdoor concert. No further action by the district is necessary.

As with all positive COVID-19 cases, contract tracing will be handled by the Allegheny County Health Department.
