School Board extends Dr. Mannarino’s contract as superintendent through 2026

PITTSBURGH -- The North Hills School District Board of Education voted to extend Dr. Patrick Mannarino's contract during their committee meeting with action on July 23, retaining him as superintendent of the district through 2026.

"On behalf of the board I would like to say congratulations, Dr. Mannarino,” School Board Vice President Dee Spade said. “Your passion, hard work and dedication is evident to anyone who works with you or encounters you. We appreciate how hard you work for the North Hills community every day. Our district is lucky to have you and we are lucky to work with you and are all very pleased to be securing your future at North Hills."

Dr. Mannarino has served as superintendent of North Hills School District since 2012 after two years as an assistant superintendent.

Prior to joining the central administrative staff, he served as principal of North Hills Senior High School for four years. He joined the North Hills School District staff as an assistant principal in 2002 and was promoted to associate principal in 2005.

Dr. Mannarino’s contract was due to expire in June of 2021.
