The 2025 season has been a great one for the girls' tennis team, and this week, the excitement ramps up.
On Wednesday, seniors Ellie Kim and Addie Seigworth will compete in the WPIAL 3A Girls' Tennis Doubles Championships. The North Hills duo earned the nine-seed after claiming second place in their section doubles tournament last week and will face the top pair from Fox Chapel.
Wednesday morning's doubles action is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. at North Allegheny High School. The top three finishers will advance to the state tournament.
Also this week, the WPIAL girls' tennis team playoff brackets were revealed. North Hills finished third in its section this fall and earned the tenth seed in the WPIAL team playoffs as a result. The girls will now travel to Latrobe on Monday, October 6, for their first-round matchup against Greater Latrobe. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:00.
