North Hills Sports Hall of Fame announces Class of 2026

The North Hills Sports Hall of Fame will welcome five new inductees this fall, recognizing individuals whose accomplishments have left a lasting impact on North Hills athletics and beyond.

The Class of 2026 includes longtime teacher and coach Herb Dodd, Jamie Halloran (Class of 2016), Curtis Kelly (Class of 2005), Mike Miller (Class of 1984) and Mekenzie Saban Mahsoob (Class of 2017).

The inductees will be formally honored at a dinner ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 10, at Rico’s Restaurant beginning at 6 p.m. They will also be recognized during the North Hills varsity football game against Bethel Park on Friday, Sept. 11, at Martorelli Stadium.

Herb Dodd, Community Supporter
A longtime teacher, coach and official, Herb Dodd helped build North Hills wrestling into a successful program while creating opportunities for young athletes through youth sports and intramural programs. His decades of service left a lasting impact on generations of student-athletes.

Jamie Halloran, Class of 2016 - Basketball
A four-year starter and two-year captain, Jamie Halloran ranks among the top scorers in North Hills girls basketball history with 1,136 career points. She continued her basketball career at Walsh University and now works in collegiate athletics.

Curtis Kelly, Class of 2005 - Swimming
One of the most decorated swimmers in school history, Curtis Kelly won four WPIAL titles, earned four All-American honors and competed at the University of Alabama. His accomplishments helped establish a standard of excellence for North Hills swimming.

Mike Miller, Class of 1984 - Football
Mike Miller helped lead North Hills to its first WPIAL football championship and later earned Defensive Player of the Year honors at the University of Delaware. He continued his involvement in the sport through coaching at both the collegiate and high school levels.

Mekenzie Saban Mahsoob, Class of 2017 - Softball
One of the greatest hitters in North Hills softball history, Mekenzie Saban Mahsoob earned multiple all-section honors before becoming one of the most accomplished players in Saint Francis University history. She was recognized nationally for both her athletic and academic achievements.

The North Hills School District congratulates the Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026 and thanks each inductee for their outstanding contributions to North Hills athletics.
