North Hills seniors explore opportunities during CCAC North visit

Students tour CCAC North
Heather Pelat

Twenty-six seniors from North Hills High School spent Tuesday, Dec. 9, exploring future pathways during an engaging and informative visit to the Community College of Allegheny County.

The students toured campus facilities and heard directly from staff about the wide range of academic and career opportunities available at CCAC.

Representatives from several key support and career-readiness programs, including the Office of Disability Resources, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Job Corps, Environmental Services, and Career Services, shared valuable information to help students plan their next steps beyond high school.

Adding a special connection to the day, the tour was led by a former North Hills student who is now pursuing studies at CCAC. Their firsthand experience provided students with meaningful insight into what life and learning at CCAC North is really like.

North Hills extends its sincere thanks to the CCAC North team for their warm hospitality, expertise, and dedication to helping students explore postsecondary opportunities.
