North Hills High School students brought real-world learning to North Hills Middle School on Tuesday, Nov. 11, during the district’s annual Financial Literacy Day.

Students from the high school’s Personal Finance class, joined by members of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), visited computer science classrooms to teach middle schoolers about smart money management and financial responsibility.

Throughout the day, middle school students participated in hands-on activities, including Kahoot challenges and an interactive Next Gen Personal Finance lesson. The sessions introduced key financial concepts such as spending habits, debt, and thoughtful decision-making when it comes to managing money.

The peer-to-peer format gave high school students a chance to share their knowledge and personal experiences, creating an engaging learning environment for younger students.

Financial Literacy Day continues to grow each year, offering students valuable skills they can carry with them long into the future.
