North Hills Foundation announces new scholarships for graduating seniors

Thanks to the generosity of alumni, community donors and employees participating in the district's Employee Giving Program, the North Hills Foundation is proud to offer new scholarships to graduating seniors of North Hills High School.

These scholarships are designed to support students as they begin life after graduation—whether they pursue higher education, specialized training or enter the workforce.

Up to six $500 scholarships will be awarded in 2025 as follows:

• North Hills Foundation College & University Scholarship
  Awarded to seniors who plan to attend a four-year college or university. This scholarship recognizes students committed to continuing their academic journey at a traditional post-secondary institution.
• North Hills Foundation Trade & Technical Scholarship
  Awarded to seniors enrolling in a two-year college, vocational school, technical institute, or career training program. This award supports students pursuing hands-on learning and specialized career education.
• North Hills Foundation Workforce Scholarship
  Awarded to seniors entering the workforce directly after graduation. Eligible students may be pursuing apprenticeships, internships, industry certifications, or job opportunities that require equipment or startup costs. This scholarship helps ease the transition from high school to hands-on careers.

Applicants should demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their community. Learn more and apply.

The application deadline is April 30, 2025. No late applications will be accepted. Students must be logged into their NHSD Google account to access and complete the application form.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee composed of members of the North Hills Foundation Board of Directors, designated donors and representatives from the North Hills School District administration and high school counseling office.

Scholarship recipients will be announced during the high school’s  annual Senior Awards Night on Monday, May 19, at 7 p.m. in the North Hills High School auditorium.
