Nineteen North Hills High School students competed at the Pennsylvania Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference, held April 13-15 in Hershey, earning top finishes and statewide recognition.

The students advanced to the state competition after strong regional performances and went on to achieve impressive results across multiple events.

Leading the way, junior Will Woodside earned first place in Advanced Accounting, while junior Wyatt Lipinski placed fourth in Computer Problem Solving. Both qualified for the FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer in San Antonio, Texas.

In addition, senior Carter Schram represented North Hills with a strong showing, earning ninth place in Financial Statement Analysis.

As a chapter, North Hills also achieved significant recognition, placing sixth overall in the state. The chapter was further honored for its commitment to service, receiving awards for both the Largest State Project Donation and the Largest Per Capita State Project Donation. In total, North Hills students contributed $1,509.45 to Feeding Pennsylvania, demonstrating their dedication to making a positive impact beyond the classroom.

The Pennsylvania FBLA State Leadership Conference brings together thousands of students each year to compete in business-related events, attend leadership workshops, and network with peers from across the state. North Hills students’ success highlights their hard work, preparation, and commitment to excellence.

North Hills High School teachers Kellee Kanith and Nancy DiNicola serve as advisors to the school’s FBLA chapter, supporting students throughout their preparation and competition each year.
