Beginning this school year, all North Hills High School students will be issued a Dell Latitude 3140 2-in-1 laptop instead of the previously issued district iPad. The laptops better align with high school coursework and the high school’s vision to prepare students for multiple pathways after high school.
Returning students entering grades 10, 11 or 12 can pick up their laptop during one of the following distributions:
- Friday, August 2: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Monday, August 5: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 7: 1 pm. to 7 p.m.
- Monday, August 12: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Rising ninth grade students and new students entering grades 10, 11 or 12 can pick up their laptop on either orientation day as follows:
- Thursday, August 8: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Monday, August 12: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All distributions will take place in the high school cafeteria.
A charger will be provided. If students wish to purchase a mouse, the devices are USB-A compatible.
