On Friday, the varsity football team will travel to Bethel Park for the first round of the WPIAL playoffs.

The Indians are the 10th seed in this year's 5A football playoffs after posting a 3-2 section record during the regular season and locking up third place in the Northeast Conference. Their opponents, the Bethel Park Black Hawks, are the seven-seed following a 6-4 season.

North Hills and Bethel Park last met in the playoffs in 2022 when the top-seeded Black Hawks escaped with a 19-17 victory. The Indians are seeking their first playoff win since 2010.

Friday's game will be played at Bethel Park High School, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. Gates will open for spectators at 5:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the gate with cash, but due to anticipated high attendance, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online via GoFan in advance.

Parking for the game will be available according to the attached map. North Hills fans should enter the stadium through Gate B, and there is no re-entry once inside. Students of middle school age or younger are not permitted at the game without adult supervision.

Fans who are unable to attend the football team's first-round matchup can listen to an audio only broadcast via the Trib HSSN website. A video broadcast will be available on the NFHS Network but requires a subscription.

Good luck to the varsity football team at Bethel Park!
