Boys' Soccer

Boys' soccer posted a 1-1 record last week as they shut out Butler before taking the reigning WPIAL champions, Fox Chapel, to overtime in what was ultimately a 4-3 loss. Overall, the boys are 6-2-1 this fall with a 1-1-1 section record.

In addition, senior Ellie Kim captured the WPIAL Girls' Tennis Class 3A Section 2 singles title last week. She entered the tournament as the top seed and became the first North Hills girl to win a section singles championship in over 20 years.

Golf

The varsity golf team went 1-2 last week. Its win was a section win that came against Highlands. The boys are now 4-6 overall this season.

Cross Country

The varsity cross country teams hit the road last week and came back with two wins each. The boys beat Shaler Area 15-48 and Central Catholic 26-29. The girls beat Shaler Area 15-49 and Oakland Catholic via a tiebreaker.

At the middle school level, both the boys and girls participated in the Oakland Catholic Invitational, and both teams took home first place.
