North Hills students showcase leadership at Crisis Center North conference

North Hills High School students participated in and presented their work at the Crisis Center North Student Conference and Luncheon on April 14. The event brought together students from across the region to highlight leadership initiatives and share ways they are making a positive impact in their schools and communities.

Representing both the Challenging Athletes to be Lifelong Learners (CALL) program and the district’s mentoring initiatives, North Hills students shared their personal experiences and highlighted the impact of their efforts within the school community. Through their presentations, they explained how these programs encourage students to take on leadership roles, support one another and grow both academically and socially.

Students also emphasized the importance of mentorship and inclusion, describing how building strong relationships has helped create a more supportive and connected school environment. Their presentations showcased real examples of collaboration, leadership development and the positive influence students can have on their peers.

Through their involvement in the conference, North Hills students demonstrated their commitment to leadership and service while proudly representing their school. Their participation not only highlighted the meaningful work happening within the district, but also reinforced the value of student voice and leadership in shaping a strong school community.
