On Thursday, May 29, the final day of school, North Hills Middle School will hold its annual 8th Grade Academic Awards Assembly to celebrate student achievements and mark the close of the academic year. The event will begin at 9:15 a.m. in the school auditorium and will conclude at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Eighth grade students and their families are invited to attend the assembly, which will feature musical performances, individual student recognitions, and a heartfelt send-off as students prepare to transition to high school.
Please note that the ceremony will not be live-streamed this year. Families in attendance will have the option to take their students home immediately following the event.
While this is not a graduation ceremony—and not all students will be recognized on stage—it remains a significant milestone. In keeping with tradition, students and faculty are encouraged to dress in formal or semi-formal attire to honor the occasion.
The school looks forward to celebrating the accomplishments of the Class of 2025 with students, parents, and staff in attendance.
