School-Based Therapists
School-based therapists from Glade Run Lutheran Services work with students in all six district schools.
Amy Serrian
Amy Serrian began as a school-based therapist in the North Hills School District in 2017 and works full-time with adolescents in high school. Amy received her master’s degree in Community Counseling in 2008 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2011. Amy has been trained and certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy since 2017 and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy since 2022. Amy’s most recent achievement is becoming a trained EMDR therapist and will be working towards full certification over this school year. Amy has over 24 years experience in the mental health field and is passionate about her work with teenagers and young adults. Amy’s theoretical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Person Centered Therapy. In her free time, Amy enjoys reading, doing yoga, nurturing her house plants, online shopping, listening to music, hiking, organizing, art, being with friends and family, and trying her best to be a role model for her two daughters. Amy’s happy place is the ocean. Her greatest accomplishment of 2024 was completing her first half marathon.
Justine Johnson
Justine Johnson began as a school-based therapist in the North Hills School District in 2019. Justine currently works part time with high school and college-aged students in Allegheny, Beaver and Butler counties and has worked with children, teens, and families for over the last 12 years in a variety of settings. She earned her master's degree in Social Work in 2010 from Case Western Reserve University and has been serving as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker over the last six years in the Pittsburgh area. She began as a school-based therapist in the North Hills School District in 2020 and works remotely with students.
Sarah Hall
Sarah Hall began as a school-based therapist in the North Hills School District in 2019 and works with middle and high school students offering individual therapy. Sarah received her master’s degree in 2009 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and is a licensed professional counselor. She is trained and awaiting certification in Parent Child Interaction Therapy. Sarah has 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents as a behavioral specialist, mobile therapist, and school-based therapist. Sarah’s theoretical approach includes PCIT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her two children. She enjoys baking, hiking, and volunteering in the community.
Lindsay Panizzi
Lindsay Panizzi began as a school-based therapist in the North Hills School District in 2017 and works with elementary students offering individual therapy. Lindsay is a Licensed Professional Counselor and received her master’s degree in 2011 from Duquesne University. Lindsay has 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings. Lindsay’s clinical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys arts/crafting projects, listening to music, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Jennifer Camerot
Jennifer Camerot began working as a school-based therapist in the North Hills School District in 2020 and works with elementary, middle and high school students. Jennifer received her master's degree in Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and her bachelor’s of Social Work from Slippery Rock University in 2003. She has 16 years of experience working with children and families in the home, school, and community settings. Jennifer utilizes a variety of treatment modalities to best meet each client's individual needs. In her spare time, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends. Jennifer enjoys hiking, biking, and is always up for an adventure.
Morgan Might
Morgan Might began working as a school-based therapist at the North Hills School District in 2024 and works with elementary and middle school students. She is a National Certified Counselor and received her master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Morgan's clinical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Morgan incorporates various treatment modalities to best serve the individual client's needs. Outside of counseling, Morgan enjoys hiking, group exercise classes, and playing recreational volleyball. She loves to explore new restaurants, spend quality time with friends and family, and play board games.
Cynthia Williams
Cynthia Williams began working as a school-based therapist at the North Hills Middle School in 2024. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State Beaver in May 2020, where she completed an internship in the Center for Academic Achievement. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling from Geneva College in 2024. She completed her Elementary and Secondary internships at Seneca Valley School District. She also received an Educational Specialist 1: Elementary and Secondary School Counselor, PK-12 certificate from the PA Department of Education in 2024. In her free time, she likes to read, decorate and continue to learn about dyslexia and dysgraphia learning.
