Bus Riders

Buses will drop students off in the front of the school and students will enter through the main entrance on Chalfonte Avenue. No cars will be permitted on Chalfonte while school buses are present.

Car Riders

Drop off: 8:10-8:29 a.m.

Car riders should be dropped off in the back of the school. Enter the back parking lot from Bellevue Avenue.

For student safety, drivers must stay in their vehicle. Students should have backpacks ready to exit their vehicle quickly and on the passenger side. Staff members will greet students and help them out of cars for safety.

Drivers will be directed to pull up to the furthest spot available to allow students from several cars to exit at the same time. All vehicles will exit onto Perry Highway.

Walkers

Walkers should enter through the main entrance of the school on Chalfonte Avenue. Please use crosswalks to cross the street and follow directions from our crossing guards. As a reminder, dogs cannot be on school grounds. No students should arrive before 8:15 a.m.

Bus Riders

Students will be dismissed through the exits nearest Chalfonte Avenue and meet buses lined up in front of the building.

Car Riders

Cars riders will be dismissed once buses have left the school. Car rider pick-up will take place in the back of the building at approximately 3:05 p.m.

For 2021-22, car rider backpack tags and car placards will be sent home with EVERY student on Monday, Aug. 30. Please make sure to attach a tag to your child’s backpack and place the placards in the car that will be picking the student(s) up.

Walkers

Each student must bring a note signed from a parent or guardian on the first day of school granting permission for the child to walk to and from school each day.

Walkers will be dismissed out the front doors on Chalfonte Avenue at 2:55 p.m., before bus riders are called for dismissal. Kindergarten walkers will be dismissed out the playground doors at 2:50 p.m. to a parent/guardian/family designee only.
