McIntyre Attendance

When it is necessary for a student to be absent from school, parents must call the McIntyre attendance line at 412-318-1636. A call should be made each day a student is absent unless the absence has been preapproved by the principal.

Parents may call the attendance line any time prior to the beginning of the school day since the message will be recorded. If this notification has not been received by 9:15 a.m., the parent contact listed as the primary contact in PowerSchool will be contacted to verify the absence. 

Attendance Policy

North Hills School District updated its Attendance Policy No. 204 effective for the 2018-19 school year per state requirements. Please note changes to the Cumulative Absence Management and Educational Tours and Trips portions of the policy.

The policy can be viewed in the district's Boarddocs portal along with all other district policies.
