North Hills School District Board of Education members were
recognized by students representing each of the district’s six schools on Jan.
12. Students presented each board member with a book that had been purchased in
his/her honor. All books will be placed in school libraries throughout the
district.Did you know? Our school board members have a combined total
of 87 years of service and across the state, school board members on average
voluntarily devote 16 to 20 hours monthly to school board business.
Pennsylvania School Boards Association declared January as School Director Recognition Month, a time to spotlight the contributions of public school board members. The theme for this year is “PA Public Schools: Success Starts Here.”
