North Hills Winter Musical “Aladdin Jr.” Takes the Stage on Feb. 1 to 3
Aladdin Jr LogoThe North Hills Drama Club will present its winter musical, “Aladdin Jr.” on Feb. 1 to 3 at 7 p.m. in the North Hills Middle School auditorium. The show will feature North Hills’ talented seventh, eighth and ninth-grade actors, singers and dancers.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for all performances. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens and can be purchased in the North Hills Middle School lobby on Jan. 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Jan. 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. and Jan. 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendees who already have tickets may utilize the main entrance.

Tickets also will be available at the box office starting at 5:30 p.m. on the night of each show. Those who need to purchase tickets should enter through the library doors.

 

About “Aladdin Jr.”

Based on the iconic animated film with an Academy Award-winning score, Disney’s “Aladdin Jr.” is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure. The play is a one-act, seven-scene production adapted for middle school performers.

When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s “Aladdin Jr.,” a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.
