It is here already! North Hills School District families are encouraged to schedule kindergarten registration appointments for the 2018-19 school year NOW. Kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year can be scheduled for any weekday at all elementary buildings.
Please call your student's elementary school to schedule your registration appointment using the numbers below. Appointments are STRONGLY recommended.
Please note that per School Board Policy 205, children who are not registered to attend school by June 1 may be assigned to a district school building outside of their attendance area.
Kindergarten registration packets are available in any district building. Packets also may be downloaded from the district’s website and app.
The packets provide necessary forms as well as information regarding required documents – such as proofs of residency and health immunizations – for kindergarten entrance. All incoming kindergarten families must bring a completed registration packet and necessary documentation outlined in the packet for their registration appointment.
West View and Highcliff Elementary students attend classes
from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, and McIntyre and Ross Elementary students
attend classes from 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. daily.
Students registering for kindergarten must be five years of age before Sept. 1, 2018, to be enrolled for the 2018-19 school year. Registration is limited to residents of the North Hills School District, which includes Ross Township and West View Borough.
