Message from Highclifff Elementary Principal Kristy Bilderback
Dear Highcliff Elementary Families,

It is with a heavy heart that I share that our beloved crossing guard Mr. Frank Kodrich passed away on Thursday evening. For anyone who has ever walked their child across Timberlane Drive during arrival or dismissal, you had the pleasure to interact with Mr. Kodrich. He always had a smile on his face and kind words for our students and their families. Many students referred to him fondly as Mr. Frank and looked forward to interacting with him on a daily basis. I know that he made many of our students' days brighter by greeting them or saying goodbye with a smile and a wave.

From our Highcliff community, we would like to offer our deepest condolences to Mr. Kodrich's family, including his children and their spouses: Amy Johnston (Ellsworth), Kimberly McGee Dashiell (George) and Frank R. Kodrich III (Julie).

The arrangements are as follows: Friends will be received today, Feb. 11, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home located at 806 Perry Highway where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. You can find out additional information by clicking here.

We will truly miss Mr. Frank and all that he gave to the Highcliff community.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Kristy Bilderback

Principal
