North Hills School District is taking part in Pennsylvania School
Climate surveys provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The anonymous surveys ask questions about school climate and
measure four main domains: Social/Emotional Learning, Student Support, High
Expectations/Academic Rigor and Challenge and Safe and Respectful School
Climate.
These anonymous surveys are intended to provide our school
with data to use for future improvement planning and programming.
Over the next few weeks, all staff members and students in
Grades 5, 7 and 9 will be asked to complete a survey as well.
In addition to those two groups of respondents, we also are
requesting feedback from district parents/guardians. The parent/guardian survey
closes on Sept. 26. The instructions are:
- Go to www.paschoolclimatesurvey.org
- At the top of the page, there is a light blue box. There is
a hyperlink in the first sentence for you to click on to begin the survey. The
sentence reads “Enter your invitation code by Clicking Here and you will be
directed to take your anonymous survey.”
- After clicking on the hyperlink, a popup window will appear. You will be asked for an invitation code. Please enter the district’s invitation code of ZRUA29. Only enter the letters and numbers of the code and be sure to not include the period at the end of the previous sentence.
Please note all results are anonymous, and no individual
responses will be reported.
All survey questions were created by the state Department of
Education with no input from North Hills School District.
